About iLetters
iLetters is an open access peer-reviewed journal that publishes short articles on research findings and innovation from different fields of knowledge.
Publication Mode
iLetters is published only on online platform. Each article accepted after peer review is published under a Creative Commons license and is made freely available through this website. Publication costs are covered by the collection of article processing charges, paid by submitting or corresponding authors or their institutions or funding agencies. There is no charge for submitting a paper to the journal.
Peer Review and Ethics
Each and every manuscript submitted to iLetters is subjected to an initial review by a member of the Editorial Board to identify its compliance with iLetters aims and scope. After this primary assessment, the manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process involving two or more reviewers having expertise and publication track record in the relevant field .
Preparing your Paper
We recommend the authors to use one of standard iLetters templates to prepare their manuscript and comply with the guidelines stated in them. An appropriate template will be emailed to you after the submission of your abstract but you can also access the templates from the footer of this page.
Using Third-Party Materials
It is the author's responsibility to collect permission from the source for use of any third party materials (for examples figures, tables etc.) in the manuscript submitted to iLetters.
Article Processing Charge
The article processing charge (APC) for publishing in iLetters is £200.
The APC will be fully waived for the year 2020 and 2021.
